You Deserve the Same Peace of Mind You Deliver to Your Patients

Your journey to becoming a physician took immense dedication and countless years of hard work only to enter the workforce with little guidance on navigating the changing financial landscape. At The Real Estate Physician, we’re here to guide you through commercial real estate investing so that you can live a life of purpose, one that allows you to practice medicine on your own terms.

Passive Income,
Active Life

Commercial real estate investments can seem intimidating at first. We know – we’ve been there. But with the right knowledge and support by your side, you’ll be able to see this financial tool for what it actually is: a simple and effective way to reach your objectives without having to work long hours or spend time away from doing what you love.

I have not invested in any syndications previous to my first investment with REP. Dr. Chen provided detailed educational resources and ongoing publications that are useful in learning the ins and outs. I ended up investing in an apartment complex syndication earlier in 2018. You need to have someone you can trust to help introduce you to opportunities. The REP was that source for me, and so far, my investment experience has gone well.

Dr. Colbert, Nephrologist

The Real Estate Physician is more than just a service that connects third parties. It truly is a wealth of resources and education for those who want to not only invest in commercial real estate but also learn about the financials and become more knowledgeable and experienced in creating passive income streams.

Dr. Singh, Interventional Pain PM&R Doctor

My previous experiences with investing in commercial real estate syndications have not had the level of professionalism, communication, and education that I have experienced with REP. The deals all went well, but I was in the dark most of the time and generally felt out of the loop. With REP, I feel like an owner/investor, and I always know where our deals are at.

Common Investment Questions

1. How do I get started with investing?

If you are interested in investing, all you have to do is connect with us. After that, you’ll gain access to our offerings and will be able to directly invest your hard-earned money. While many deals require you to be an accredited investor, some don’t.

An accredited investor, as defined by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), must satisfy at least one of the following:

  • Have an annual income of $200,000, or $300,000 for joint income, for each of the last two years, with expectations of earning the same or higher income this year, or
  • Have a net worth exceeding $1 million, not counting your primary home.

Certification is not required to meet the definition of an accredited investor.

2. What is real estate syndication?

A syndication is simply a way for people to pool their resources together. It allows for individuals or groups to aggregate their financial and intellectual resources to purchase properties much bigger than they could afford or manage on their own.

3. How much money do I need to invest?

The typical minimum investment amount is $50,000, though each syndication is unique. Typical minimum investment amounts range from $25,000 – $100,000. Investors may invest as an individual with a checking or savings account, or with an entity such as an LLC, trust, or self-directed IRA/401K account.

4. How do I know who to invest with?

No matter who you invest with or what you invest in, we believe in the importance of educating yourself and developing your personal investment philosophy. Much like the treatments we prescribe, every investment has its own unique set of risks and benefits that investors should be aware of.

For this reason, we’ll take the time to build a relationship with you to better understand and take a personalized financial “history and physical” of your individual investment goals. We know your time is a valuable asset, and we make the process simple by leveraging our experience and relationships to help find the investment opportunities that are most suitable for you.

5. Do I need to be a physician to invest with The Real Estate Physician?

Although our resources are curated for physicians and medical professionals, you do NOT need to be a physician to invest with us. Our investors come from all walks of life, some retired, some just looking to diversify their investment portfolio with someone they trust.
